The New Park Bridge Project – Improving the Resort’s Development and Accessibility
The construction of the new Park Bridge has addressed important issues related to the development, accessibility, and tourist flow management of the Druskininkai resort. This project is not only about building a bridge but also about comprehensive infrastructure improvements:
- Construction of a new Ausra Street in Baltašiškė;
- Installation of a bicycle path to the “Snow Arena”;
- Creation of a new parking lot;
- Improvement of the bridge access and exit roads.
These changes ensure more convenient connectivity for the residents of Gailiūnai and Baltašiškė, and for tourists leaving the city center, they offer a faster way to reach the “Snow Arena” and other popular attractions.
