Cracks in the existing bridge supports were injected, reinforced, and covered with a protective concrete layer. Bearings were replaced, including repairs to bearing pads, and transition slabs were replaced. Repairs were also carried out on the carriageway and bridge approaches in the abutment zones.
The bridge deck was renovated: steel beams were cleaned using abrasive blasting, steel elements were coated with protective layers, and concrete surfaces were cleaned with sandblasting and treated with anti-corrosion coatings. Damaged areas were restored using repair compounds.
The carriageway pavement was relaid, and the bridge approaches and railings were repaired. Existing expansion joints were removed and replaced with new bituminous expansion joints.
The bridge lighting poles were replaced with new, modern ones.
