The reconstruction of the A5 Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suwałki motorway, section from 35.40 km to 45.15 km, has been successfully completed, significantly improving connectivity between Lithuania, Poland, and the Baltic States. This project is especially important for regional economic development, mobility, and traffic safety.
Key Works Completed:
- Viaduct constructed at 39.96 km, ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow;
- Tunnel viaduct built at 42.22 km, enhancing road infrastructure and improving traffic capacity;
- Wildlife underpass constructed at 44.59 km, reducing traffic hazards and allowing safe animal migration.
The implementation of this project has not only improved travel conditions but also increased the efficiency of the international transport corridor by reducing congestion and contributing to road safety and environmental preservation.
